Physiotherapy
Physical treatment for a wide range of injuries and conditions.
Help to get you back on the right path to wellbeing for everyday life.
- Relieve pain and discomfort
- Encourage recovery and improve strength
- Increase mobility
Physiotherapy provides both a manual and a rehabilitative approach to muscle and skeletal problems. This includes restoring normal movement after an injury and correcting the development of a dysfunctional movement. Physiotherapy aims at reducing the pain by reducing how severe it is or aiding in the management of long-term conditions.
Physiotherapy treatment may involve therapeutic exercise to improve strength, range of motion and endurance and to correct postural and muscle imbalance, joint mobilisation, manipulation and soft tissue massage, as well as stretching and trigger point therapy to reduce stiffness and to relieve pain.
Patients with neurological disorders such as stroke, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, cerebral palsy and spinal cord injury can benefit greatly with physiotherapy treatment.

Treatment includes mobilisation and manipulation, home exercises, and acupuncture procedures where necessary. You may need to remove some clothing depending where treatment is needed.
