Support groups for men
An opportunity to make new friends, learn new skills and generally have a good time.
Our Time Out for Men group is a great way to socialise and be yourself.
- Improve self esteem and feel empowered
- Increase your overall sense of wellbeing
- Enjoy activities, games and chit chat with peers
Our 'Time Out for Men' group meets every Tuesday at Wellspring and they also take part in activities and days out.
To date such activities have included – cooking; various trips around the Bristol area; playing darts, bowling and pool and general peer support activities. New ideas are always welcome. Format and activities to be decided by the group as a whole.
The atmosphere is very relaxed and informality most definitely is the key. We have members ranging from their twenties to their late seventies. The wide range of ages and experience is one of the key strengths of the group and what makes it so interesting.
"The benefits of social interaction within a peer-led group never ceases to amaze me. These guys offer each other unforced mutual support in an environment of their own making and they reap the rewards."
