How is Wellspring Settlement responding to the Black Lives Matter movement?
We have brought together a staff team to look at our new organisation, how we tackle racism, support and grow our Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) staff and encourage more opportunities for BAME engagement from our communities. We will be bringing forward actions to ensure we stay at the forefront of diversity, equality and inclusion practices.
We welcome contributions from local people so if you want to join us on this vital journey, please get in touch. Contact Elaine Flint Co-Director, email: elaine.flint@wellspringhlc.org

How we can help
Improving or maintaining wellbeing is at the heart of all of Wellspring’s services. As a local community-based charity, we're here to support people who may be struggling with issues such as stress, anxiety, social isolation and physical ailments. We also address the social issues such as debt and housing problems that can contribute to physical and emotional problems.
We improve the wellbeing of local people by bringing together a partnership of community health activities and services - linking together treatments, therapies and activities in a shared space in order to build a healthier community. In essence we make it easier for our community to access health and wellbeing services because they are nearer their doorstep. If you feel you need advice, help or assistance with emotional or physical wellbeing then please take a look at our full range of services. Feel free to get in touch by telephone or email for a no-obligation, confidential chat. Our services are either free or low-cost.
Want to get more active but don't fancy the gym?
We've got some great options for you!
Low-cost with no long-term contracts, and more importantly FUN activities to suit you and your needs. Whether you want to take a stroll with a walking group, try some pilates, or BellyFit; - you can give it a go at Wellspring. If none of that takes your fancy and you want to do something else then why not muck in at our community allotment or open up your lungs and join in with our singing group?
We believe getting more active and healthier should be enjoyable and not something to dread. Come along and give one of our activities a go!
Facilities for hire
We have a number of rooms of varying sizes available for hire in our beautiful purpose built centre. The building is wheelchair accessible, has undergone a disability access audit and has easy access by foot, bike, bus, train (via Lawrence Hill Station) and car. We have bike racks available for those who like to use pedal-power to get around Bristol.
With free WiFi, as well as equipment such as laptops and projectors to hire, refreshment making facilities, flipcharts and pens - we can provide everything you need to make your event or meeting a success.

You can make a difference
Wellspring supports local people to improve their health and wellbeing; building their confidence to aspire and achieve goals that can transform their lives.
Our achievements to date are forged on our strong relationships with our partners and the support of our funders and community. We gratefully accept financial donations of all sizes and always welcome offers of support.
We regularly look for members of our community to take an active part in what we are doing - whether that is helping with events, providing input on services or becoming a trustee of our organisation.
We're all about community. Why not link up with us socially?
