Osteopathy – Female Therapist

Osteopathy is a way of detecting, treating and preventing health problems by moving, stretching and massaging a person’s muscles and joints. Osteopathy is based on the principle that the wellbeing of an individual depends on their bones, muscles, ligaments and connective tissue functioning smoothly together.
This is an NHS Funded treatment – speak to your GP about a referral.
Access to this therapy is only available via GP referral.
You must be registered with one of the following GP surgeries to be referred:
- Wellspring Surgery
- Lawrence Hill Surgery
- Eastville Surgery
- Maytrees Practice
- Charlotte Keel Medical Practice
- Montpellier Surgery
How to get referred:
Anyone, who is registered with the specified GP practices and who has a muscle, ligament and skeletal condition or injury that has occurred in the last 6 months can go to their GP and ask to be referred.
If the GP is happy to do so, a referral will be sent to Wellspring Complementary Health Clinic (CHC). You will be notified by letter that your referral has been received and that you have been placed on the waiting list. You will then be contacted by Wellspring Complementary Health Clinic within 5 weeks of your referral to offer you an appointment.
